At The March Hare, our menu is all about big flavours, great comfort food, and the kind of dishes that make a proper local pub worth visiting. Whether you’re dropping in for a casual bite, meeting friends for a few drinks, or settling in for dinner, there’s plenty to choose from.
Start things off with a few small plates like halloumi fries with hot honey, bang bang cauliflower, or baked king prawns before getting stuck into the main event — our stacked burgers, loaded fries, and pub favourites. Our smash burgers are a real highlight, from the classic O.G to the indulgent Fred Flintstone, piled high with braised beef, slaw and American cheese.
If you’re after something traditional, we’ve got all the pub classics covered too, including ale battered fish & chips, steak & ale pie, bangers & mash, and rich beef lasagne. And for something a bit different, our Belgian loaded fries and flavour-packed wings and tenders bring a fun twist to the menu.
There’s always something happening during the week as well - from pie night and unlimited wings to our community specials and build-a-burger nights. And of course, Sundays mean one thing: a proper roast served with all the trimmings.

All proceeds from wristband sales will help support Mind and the vital work they do for mental health awareness and support.

Get ready fer a full day o’ Caribbean treasures, mighty fine tunes, and plenty o’ rum, ye dogs!From 2pm till 4pm, the Cherry Go Steady Reggae Band be takin’ the deck with their smooth, laid-back reggae rhythms to get yer bones shakin’ in proper island spirit!
Then from 8pm onwards, DJ Nugg-Z be seizin’ the helm, blastin’ the best reggae beats across the seven seas till the wee hours!
We’ve got a fine haul o’ the finest rums behind the bar, belly-timberin’ grub, and a full pirate-themed atmosphere from bow to stern!
So clap on yer eye patch, hoist yer best pirate gear, and get yer landlubbin’ selves down here—there’ll be prizes fer the best-dressed buccaneer!

Saddle up and head on down to our Country & Western Day on the 15th of August from 1pm.
We’re bringing a full day of proper country spirit with a fantastic live music line-up featuring Snake Oil, Velvet Voices, and Unhinged, serving up all your favourite country classics and boot-stomping western tunes.
We’ll also have a giant screen showing pig and horse races with cash prizes to be won, so get ready to cheer, holler, and back your winners.
Dust off your boots, grab your hats, and don’t forget your best western wear, as we’ll be giving out prizes for the best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl in town.
Cold drinks, good company, and a proper country party from start to finish. See y’all there.

Saddle up and head on down to our Country & Western Day on the 15th of August from 1pm.
We’re bringing a full day of proper country spirit with a fantastic live music line-up featuring Snake Oil, Velvet Voices, and Unhinged, serving up all your favourite country classics and boot-stomping western tunes.
We’ll also have a giant screen showing pig and horse races with cash prizes to be won, so get ready to cheer, holler, and back your winners.
Dust off your boots, grab your hats, and don’t forget your best western wear, as we’ll be giving out prizes for the best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl in town.
